Program Profiles

Dr. Tomei's Perspective

NYC is one of the most competitive PA school markets in the country. Pace, NYU Langone, and Touro all draw applications from hundreds of qualified candidates for a small number of seats. A 3.4 science GPA and 1,000 hours is a floor, not a ceiling. If you are applying to NYC programs, you need a strategy — not just a checklist. The CUNY program is the best value in the city and is worth serious consideration for students committed to health equity work.
